WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW ABOUT CONCUSSION

Neither of my kids have managed to get a concussion yet. They’re not sporty and prefer, much like their mother, to have their heads in books and some food in their mouths, rather than running around outside playing football.

So they’re not exactly high-risk candidates for a head injury. But I’m still waiting for the day that it happens, simply based on the fact that around 30% of the population will experience concussion before they turn 25. That’s a giant proportion of our young people having a dazed and confused moment.
