THE NEW YORKER: OLYMPIC COVERS
Over the course of its 87 years, The New Yorker has featured many Olympics-inspired covers.
The images comment not so much on the Games themselves, but often on where they were held.
My favourite is this cover from the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, the first held outside of Europe and North America. Gold!
