MITT ROMNEY FIRES BIG BIRD, RUFFLES WOMEN’S FEATHERS
In last Wednesday’s Presidential debate, Mitt Romney spoke of plans to cut funding to PBS – the broadcaster of children’s TV favourite, Sesame Street.
“I like PBS. I love Big Bird,” Romney said. “But I am not going to keep spending money on things [we have] to borrow money from China to pay for.”
