The healthy food star rating story is not going away.

Assistant minister for health, Fiona Nash, was questioned extensively in Senate estimates hearings yesterday about the conflict of interest of her chief of staff Alastair Furnival.

Questioning by Labor senators Penny Wong and John Faulkner revealed that Senator Nash was aware that Furnival had links to a lobby group representing the junk food industry before she hired him.
