John Howard likes to rely on his instinct when it comes to the claims of climate change science.

The former PM gave the annual lecture at the Global Warming Policy Foundation in London overnight, saying he believed claims of climate change were exaggerated, that he was “agnostic” on the matter, and that he doesn’t accept “alarmist conclusions.”

Mr Howard told the GWPF (a group of climate change sceptics which aims to challenge the consensus): “I don’t know whether all of the warnings about global warming are true or not. You can never be absolutely certain that all the science is in.
